Do it, just go and march!
2004Hong Kong's first gay parade kicks off this Friday
One of Lan Kwai Fong's pioneers, ninetysevengroup, corporate
entertainment doyen Greg Derham of House of Siren and sexual minority
group HORIZONS will co-organise Hong Kong's first gay parade on this
coming Friday (October 15, 2004).
With "This is Not a Scene", one of the city's longest running gay events
by Club 97, as the launching pad, the party will open its door at 6pm
and get really hot by 8pm when stunning dancers start to wreak havoc and
the diva bursts into songs.
At around 10:30pm the organisers will announce that the first gay parade
in Hong Kong is commenced, and a stylish and funky group of marchers
will circle the block of Lan Kwai Fong until late. People of all walks
of life are invited to join rank and take the walk.
This group of marchers represents how far Hong Kong has come since a
decade ago, when this would have been imaginable. We are out and we are
proud, and we would like to tell our sisters and brothers who are still
forced to stay in the closet by discrimination that our hearts are
together. We want to tell them that this march will be the beginning of
a new chapter that is to see Hong Kong truly grow into Asia's World
City.
We would like to invite everyone here to support. Come after work, come
after dinner, or come from home, in whatever attire and in whatever
style¡Xsuit, sportswear, a new favourite number or even uniform. Join
the march, or just stand in the crowd and be a supportive spectator. It
is the thought that counts!

想遊行 就遊行 星期五香港歷史性
第一次同志遊行 2004
蘭桂芳的ninetysevengroup、專籌辦大型活動的House of
Siren及同志團體HORIZONS（啟同服務社）將於本星期五（十月十五日）晚上六時在Club 97的This is Not a
Scene同志派對中，宣佈香港歷史上第一次同志遊行於當晚十時舉行。屆時將會有不少參加者穿上創意十足的裝束，環繞蘭桂芳遊行，向全港甚至全世界展示香港同志的力量，亦希望公開向數以十萬計未能出櫃的姊妹弟兄作出勉勵，共同願祝香港早日能成為一個沒有歧視的亞洲國際都會。
現正式邀請各行各業、男男女女或跨性別，以及不同國籍的同志參與。不管你當日是穿西裝、運動服、最心愛的戰衣或甚至是制服，也歡迎你到來Club
97支持是行創舉。當晚蘭桂芳肯定人頭擁擁，未能出櫃的姊妹弟兄亦可到場以圍觀者身份向遊行隊伍作出支持。

2004同志立法會選舉工程－香港同志社區聯席
同志社區聯席 (TCJM) 是由十多個同志組織於 1999
年組成，以推動組織間在同志權利上的合作。TCJM
素來對推動同志權益有所承擔，面對九月十二日的立法會選舉這個重要時刻，有感同志聲音未在立法會內被充分地代表，故秉承 2000
年立法會選舉運動的傳統，將會對 2004
年地區及功能組別的候選人逐一檢視其對同志權益的立場，作出分析及遊說其對同志議題的支持；此計劃之團隊暫時有二十多人，包括女／男同志，負責不同工作。
